Hope v Apathy
Business and governments are incinerating materials that can either serve mans purpose or have taken the earth millions of years to create. They are as a consequence sending up millions of tonnes of deadly cancerous toxins which are deadly to human life and the natural environment. That cannot be good.

Burning Issue
In Europe 33,000 doctors have signed a petition against incineration, can they be wrong too?...we need to stand up and fight for our community if we think its worth fighting for and we need our politicians to stand up and protect our country against the threat to not only our environment but our economy which could be devastated as a consequence of toxic emissions. Please support us in any way you can.

I am strongly against the incinerator, mainly for health reasons. I believe the emmesions will NOT be monitored correctly over time and our health WILL suffer, and a by product of this will be and added strain on the NHS, and who will want to buy our contaminated crops?

Democracy?
For democracy to prevail this development has to be stopped. The decision was wrong by South Lanarkshire Council and it is wrong for Scotland. Where are the rights of the people to have a safe environment and a greenbelt that is protected for the enjoyment and benefit of those who work the land? The toxic waste incinerator has been approved for one reason alone....money. The Council save money on landfill and Scotgen reap the financial profits. Please join the campaign to stop this development.

Health and Dovesdale!
I was absolutely angered and disgusted with the councillors who allowed planning permission for the Dovesdale Incinerator. I was sickened, literally, when I found out our elected members - whom are servants of the public; voted for Planning for the Dovesdale Incinerator! These are the people we vote to put forward our concerns, about 20,000 against the planned incinerator. But they chose to think of the larger towns of South Lanarkshire and how they can divert their waste and threat of the incinerator in their own constituencies. Do they now realise that GREEN BELT does not have industrial waste in its legislation? Do they not realise that Larkhall and the surrounding areas are the WORST IN THE WORLD for Multiple Sclerosis and Auto Immune Diseases, which are known to be caused by "environmental factors"!!!!
The Incinerator may result in 50 jobs, but how much will the NHS and Social Work have to increase its budgets when it peoples become ill, diseased, born deformed and new cancers hot spots develop???
Please SLC, listen to your people!
STOP THIS PLANNED INCINERATOR NOW!
