MEP's, MP's, MSP's and Cllr'sWrite to your Cllrs/MSP/MPs/MEPs
For those that haven't done so already, please write to your local political representatives about this issue or go to one of their surgeries. This is one of the most essential parts of the campaign. We have had lots of politicians telling the Action Group that they have been swamped with hundred of letters and emails. This is fantastic! And we have to keep doing it, and letting them know our concerns. We want them to know that we are here en mass and growing, we object strongly to their decision to approve the application, are very active and very, very angry. Please join us in writing a letter of maladministration to South Lanarkshire Council (SLC) highlighting your concerns with the manner in which the Dovesdale Incinerator application has been handled.
Please feel free to use our eample letter as a foundation for writing your own letter. It doesn't matter just please contact them ASAP!
Make sure that you write your name, address and postcode. If you do not identify yourself as a constituent, they will not reply. This is very important. So get writing! Click HERE to view an example letter that may be of some assistance.
