Ten reasons to campaign against the Dovesdale Incinerator
In February 2011 South Lanarkshire Council approved the construction of a toxic waste incinerator on greenbelt land at Dovesdale, Stonehouse against their own Local Plan and despite 24,000 objections. The campaign to oppose the development goes on to protect the environment and communties in Lanarkshire who will be affected by the toxic emissions released from the incinerator.
Outlined in the leaflet below are principle areas of objection and concern of the Campaign Group and information for neighbouring farms in the campaign to raise funds.
